Sonera brings live trotting webcast to mobile subscribers - Jun 1, 2004
Sonera has brought out a new service, TotoRadio, for its mobile subscribers
together with Fintoto Ltd. Customers can access the streaming audio channel on the Sonera Plaza mobile portal on phones with the RealOne mobile player installed.
The streaming audio service has been implemented using Sonera's award-winning
Sonera Live streaming platform, including stream delivery, capturing and
encoding of the satellite feed, as well as integrating authentication to the
streams through the Sonera Plaza mobile portal.
For now, no connection or monthly charges are imposed for the use of the
TotoRadio service, only a data transfer charge will be collected.
