MediaLab introduces new Multimedia Messaging Jukebox - Feb 7, 2003

MediaLab rolled out the new and improved MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) Jukebox at the annual Sonera Future event on February 5, 2003. Users of the service are able to send a picture to be displayed on the jukebox screen via MMS, along with their song wish.

icon_demos_mmsjukebox: The MMS Jukebox runs on a standalone laptop set up with an MMS capable phone. Version 1.0 of the software features the abilility to display pictures sent from MMS capable phones, display music videos of the songs when no sent pictures are queued, a voting engine for the music videos based on the received SMS and MMS messages, a SMS and MMS chat, and dynamic Top 30 video list generation.
